Plein air Wed.Oct 27th 2010
Just a note to post next Wednesdays Plein air. Oct 27th. We'll be meeting in front of the Parrochia again. 9:30 am and we'll seek out spots from there.If you arrive a little late just circulate around a bit we won't be far from there. Feel free to work in oils or watercolors.The weather has been so fine these last few weeks and it's supposed to continue. It may be a bit cool at first but will warm up. Don't forget hats! and camera too, for reference photos. See you there, Donna

| BACK FROM THE MARKET watercolor 11 x 15in. This was a fun painting to do as I had actually returned from the organic market with my flowers and vegetables and saw the potential for this painting while unlocking the door. |
New Studio
Haven't posted for awhile as we've been busy moving ,and moving from one studio to the next. At last we have found the "perfect" location encompassing all that we need in a historic San Miguel home in centro.A great studio space with very high boveda ceiling for teaching and painting for me , another studio with great views of the Parrochia for Tom. A great living space wrapped around an inner courtyard,and a fabulous terrace view where we spend much time watching sunsets and birds and all. Last night we saw an owl!
my students have been happy with the new studio as well and we've had a couple of plein air sessions from the terrace. I'll post some pictures of what we've been doing as well as some studio paintings. i'll try to get some oils on for next post. saludos Donna
