| Here's a great plein air sketch from Park Juarez done by artist Tom Dickson a while back. He also happens to be my painting partner and husband for the last 45 years! Nice simple sketch paying attention to the dark and light values and warm hues in the background. | | | |
Plein air this first session will be Wed. June 10th at 9:30 am and we'll go til about 12:30pm Bring a hat and your camera for reference photos. A viewfinder if you have one and all that you will need to paint on location. We can usually find a convenient bench to sit on in the shade. Let me know if you are coming. If you arrive early walk around the square checking out possible scenes to paint.
